9th-10th June 2015
The Automotive Engineering Congress and the Automotive Engineering Expo focusing on the major issue „Car body process chain – from concept to final assembly” take place from 9th to 10th June 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany. The car body is essential for the stability, safety and dynamic behavior of vehicles, and its weight is decisive in the context of reduction of CO2 emissions. Furthermore, being one of the most complex vehicle parts, the car body construction requires intensive collaboration across different production sections.
Both Automotive Engineering Expo and Automotive Engineering Congress offer opportunities to learn more about the latest product and process innovations. At the same time, they present a forum for developers, process engineers, materials engineers, process engineers and decision-makers in automobile manufacturing to exchange ideas.
In the course of the congress, Dr. Clément Zémerli (Fraunhofer ITWM) will give a presentation about the latest innovations of simulation technologies in automobile production and construction. He will focus both on IPS Cable Simulation and IPS Virtual Paint and their advantages in the development of car bodies.
