fleXstructures Italia will participate to the MECSPE Parma Fairground, the reference fair for the digital factory 4.0, edition 2019 (https://www.mecspe.com/en/).
fleXstructures Italia will have a booth in Pavilion 5, which is addressed to Automation and Robotics, stand L21.
fleXstructures Italia will be presenting the three main focused innovative fields domains of the portfolio, consisting of IPS Cable Simulation, IPS Robotics and IPS IMMA.
An area dedicated to the IPS Virtual Reality system will also be at the booth. You will then have the possibility to test and concretely feel the usage of IPS solutions in a full immersive virtual environment, understanding the advantages of the solution especially for its user-friendliness real-time performance.
In addition, you can discover more about the new developments in the other IPS modules at the stand.

On 24/25 October 2018, BMW hosted its 14th IT show for employees from IT and specialist departments, suppliers and partners in Munich’s Zenith Halle for the 14th time. As expected, the event was entitled “Digitization” in all phases of the product life cycle.
fleXstructures and the BMW specialist department “plunged” with the visitors into the world of immersive experience. With the help of the Virtual Reality solution for IPS Cable Simulation, a current V8 engine including front axle and all flexible cables and hoses could be experienced. The visitors were particularly impressed by the possibility to make design changes to the flexible components and to receive feedback in real time with regard to mountability and assurance of the functional properties. In addition, the VR solution offers a valuable instrument for cooperation within the team and beyond.
Due to the regular, organized BMW employee tours and the additional, lively visitor crowd, the VR equipment for IPS Cable Simulation was constantly in use and some visitors requested follow-up appointments to evaluate the application possibilities for their concrete tasks.
After the very good response, the VR solution for IPS Cable Simulation will be presented at the next internal BMW event, the Digital Day in April 2019.

Our second stop in Asia brought us to Tokyo where the 3rd Japanese IPS Cable Simulation User Conference took place with more than 130 participants from different industries.
The development of motorcycles using IPS and use cases of the construction machinery industry presented by Kobelco where highlights on the industrial application side.

It was already the third IPS conference with more than 100 participants in Shanghai, China. Experts and technicians from several major automotive manufacturers, high-speed trains, aerospace companies and suppliers were invited to present their applications of IPS. From our side Dr. Klaus Dressler from Fraunhofer ITWM, Valerio Cibrario and Thomas Tegen from fleXstructures were pleased to present new technologies and developments of IPS.

The first Chinese seminar about IPS Virtual Paint Spray, Sealing and IPS Robotics in Shanghai was hosted by GLB, our partner for the modules in China. The event with 75 customers was organized on two days.
On the first day, Valerio Cibrario presented the roadmap and two customer cases on IPS Sealing and IPS Robotics, as well as very interesting industrial applications of the Chinese Industry from Geely and ChangAn.
The second day was dedicated to an IPS training and gave the participants a good insight into the software capabilities.

After winning last year’s Robotics Award, we are looking forward participating at this year’s Hannover fair again.
Together with our partner Fraunhofer ITWM we present our latest software solutions at the Fraunhofer stand “Digital Solutions & New Materials”. Under the theme “Digital Factory – Leading Trade Show for Integrated Processes and IT Solutions” you will find us in Hall 6, Stand A30.
We will be presenting the digital manikin IPS IMMA as a trade show premiere. In addition, you can discover more about the new developments in the other IPS modules at the stand.

On 26 October 2017, our partner SCSK will hold their second IPS Cable Simulation User Conference. The event will take place in Japan.
It will include use cases and presentations from Komatsu, Suzuki Motor and Mazda Motor. The various application possibilities of IPS Cable Simulation are presented with examples of the industry. New technical functions of the product are also part of the presentations.

We offer basic and expert training courses for IPS Cable Simulation on a regular basis.
The expert trainings can be individualized and adapted to the customer’s needs. Depending on the customer’s experience with IPS, this training can also include one day of basic training. On the second day individual customer problems can be treated, if customer data is provided and shared with us for preparation upfront. In the sessions, the problems and tasks will be solved interactively with the trainers to provide an immediate start of work. An expert training session also presents a good occasion for our long-term customers to get to know new features and special functionalities of the software.
